Occupation: Commoner. Emily is a midwife full time and a grave robber on the side. She does not steal objects from the dead, however, but cuts the bodies open in an abandoned building to see their insides and learn more about the human body. She started at animals and graduated to human bodies. However, Emily is beginning to feel the urge to take living humans to experiment on so that she may see these organs in action.

History: Emily’s mother was a midwife with a bit of healing Gift, and her mother before her, and so on. Her father was a one night stand and never seen again by her mother. She was raised in lower Corus and has stayed there.  When she was around 18, Emily began to visit grave yards. However, because she is not strong enough to take adult human bodies she cuts out what she wants to study, replaces the body in its place, and then returns to her building. She’s been married since 17 years old. Her husband, Arthur, is a drunkard that is out in a ditch half the time. She is not a happy woman.  When she was 18 Emily discovered the thrill of digging up a body and dissecting it. She’s been doing this about once a month since she was that age. It is not always a grave she robs either. Sometimes she will be walking home and come across someone who died in an alley. She’ll just take advantage of the situation. Needless to say, Emily is always “aware” of what is going on around her.

One might ask, being married for 11 years, where are the kids? Well, Emily does not like children. There are a [i]few[/i] exceptions. However, because of her dislike for children, she has gone through every length to keep herself from having one. Arthur has been too self-involved and stupidly drunk to really pay attention, and if he does, she just leaves for a few days until he's forgotten. In fact, she doesn't even like him touching her anymore, so she stays out as much as she can while he's around anyway. He is abusive with hands and voice. 

Update: Arthur has gone missing. *gasp* Ever since Emily started to hang out with a guy named Ethan, a hire-sword, there has been no sign of the once abusive hubby. Now Em is having issues with Art's friends trying to grab and hurt her. She's spent the last few nights frightened and hiding. 

Appearance: 5'6" tall, slim build but strong, fairly white, sometimes tannish coloring, brown eyes. 

Personality: Emily has a brooding and confident personality. She never shows a lot of emotion, keeping herself carefully under control. She tends to see living people as body parts. The body fascinates her. It is very hard for Emily to actually make friends. Others may think they are friends with her, while she just lets them think they are.

Clothing: Has two dresses; tan and grey. She owns some muddy breeches and shirt that she wears for her grave robberies. A pair of black boots attire her feet. On her belt she carries one long, sharp knife and a short, sharp knife on her hip. She keeps one pouch on the outside of her clothing with a few coins in it and keeps another, smaller purse strapped under her clothes. A new acquisition is the key she keeps on a leather thong around her neck. It is long enough for her to keep tucked under her clothing. 

Likes: Death, flowers, quiet, knives, human bodies and animals.

Dislikes: Nosy people, arrogant people, and drunkards.
